Starting Our Journey Together

At New Beginnings Personal Training, I believe in creating a personalized experience tailored to your unique needs, challenges, and goals. Here's what you can expect when you choose to work with me:

Initial Consultation (Free)

Our journey together starts with a complimentary 45-minute consultation where we'll:

  • Get to know each other and determine if we're a good fit
  • Review your challenges, likes, dislikes, and personal goals
  • Discuss your past and present activity levels
  • Examine daily habits, routines, diet, sleep patterns, and water intake
  • Consider your work schedule, stress levels, and current stress management practices
  • Address any concerns or questions you may have

This consultation is designed to be relaxed, informative, and pressure-free. It's my opportunity to understand your needs and your opportunity to see if my approach aligns with your goals.

Assessment & Paperwork

If we decide to move forward together, the next steps include:

  • Forms & Waivers: You'll complete an exercise readiness questionnaire (PAR-Q) and a medical history form
  • Medical Clearance: For some conditions, a ParMedX form may need to be completed by your doctor providing written clearance to begin an exercise program
  • Health Metrics: I'll take your blood pressure and calculate your resting heart rate
  • Helpful Information: Recent cholesterol levels (both HDL and LDL) are beneficial to ensure exercises are safe and effective
  • Postural Analysis: We'll identify any muscle imbalances that need correction
  • Program Planning: Together, we'll determine session times, frequency, and the type of program best suited to you

  • Support Between Sessions: Guidance for at-home exercises and activities
